Een betrouwbaar vervoer is nu eenmaal onmisbaar en zijn er gelegenheden waarbij een eigen auto het beste zal uitkomen. Denk maar aan een vakantie of een verhuizing waarbij er veel heen en weer gereisd zal moeten worden. het huren van een auto springt daarbij gelijk in gedachten, maar zijn daar wel hoge kosten aan verbonden. Een auto huren voor een aantal weken of zelfs maanden zal dus aardig wat in de papieren lopen en bestaat er gelukkig de mogelijkheid van shortlease nog. De volgende 5 voordelen springen meteen in het oog:
1. De kosten zijn laag gehouden: er wordt bij short lease over het algemeen dezelfde tarievenstructuur gehanteerd als bij elke anders leasesoort. Dat houdt dus gelijk in, dat met het shortleasen, er veel geld wordt bespaart ten opzichte van een huurauto. Voor zowel particulieren als bedrijven is dat zeker goed nieuws.
2. De lease is snel opzegbaar: dat is wel een groot verschil met de overige leasesoorten en kan de opzegtermijn variëren per leasemaatschappij. Het blijft echter mogelijk, om meestal al binnen een week de lease op te zeggen. Dit schept een prettige atmosfeer waarbij de druk van een lange termijn verplichting komt weg te vallen.
3. Geschikt om een tijdelijke vervoersbehoefte op te vangen: er kan nu eenmaal van alles gebeuren op het gebied van behoefte aan wat extra vervoer en past zo een short lease daar naadloos in.
4. Naast het leasetarief geen overige verplichtingen: dat was al bekend van leaseauto’s, maar moet het benadrukt worden, dat de aspecten als onderhoud en reparaties, ook bij een short lease inbegrepen zijn.
5. Je rijdt er wel steeds rond in het nieuwste model: wie niet graag lang rond wil rijden met dezelfde auto, maar variatie wil, zal met een short lease wel aan bod komen.
